1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using ShotSpot, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be 18 years of age or older to use ShotSpot.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. One account per person — creating multiple accounts is not permitted.
3. Content You Post
You retain ownership of photos and content you upload. By posting content, you grant ShotSpot a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote that content within the platform. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload, including photos taken of other people.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use ShotSpot to: post content you don't have rights to; harass, threaten, or harm other users; post false or misleading location information; scrape or systematically download content; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform; or violate any applicable laws or regulations.
5. Location Information
Locations added to ShotSpot must be real, publicly accessible places. Do not add private property without the owner's permission. Do not add locations where photography is explicitly prohibited. ShotSpot is not responsible for any issues that arise from visiting locations listed in the app — always respect local laws, regulations, and property rights.
6. Intellectual Property
The ShotSpot app, branding, and platform design are owned by ShotSpot and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the app or its components without our written permission.
7. Disclaimers
ShotSpot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of location information, directions, or any content posted by users. We are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from visiting locations found through the app.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for any other reason. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
